[OOC] Information and meme time~!
It just occurred to me that I never did this, so I figured I ought to do it. XD;



Abilities:
- World Hopping

Personal: Apollo is present with the hoppers in question.

Impersonal: If he knows you/where you are and wants to bring you to where he is, he can.

Vehicle: Apollo has the ability to bless certain vessels (e.g., Maes Hughes' pocketwatch), but only does so rarely and in exchange for something in return. The prior two are typically free of charge, unless the passengers wish to repay him.

- Archery

Short Range: In mythology and in a great deal of artwork, Apollo is depicted with a bow and arrow, and as such, he is a remarkable shot. His arrows are typically just normal, run of the mill, but he does not miss.

Long Range: Apollo also has the ability to shoot and make his mark from long distances. In the myth of Niobe, Apollo and Artemis rained down arrows of plague in the city of Thebes (and for those of you who remember the Hercules post, now you know why he hates Thebes so much XD;).

- Plague

I think this one is pretty self-explanatory, so, uh, yeah. Just don't upset him, and he won't plague your ass. Easy peasy.

- Healing

Personal: One-on-one, Apollo can easily heal any wound, so long as the person is still living when the 'medicine' is administered. He cannot revive the dead, however. In normal circumstances - cuts, bruises, broken bones - the wound is healed rather quickly. In abnormal circumstances - oh, I don't know, growing an arm - it takes a lot longer. He can also speed the healing of longterm but nonthreatening wounds, such as Eros' Decepticon tattoo. He also can heal through Greek song and prayer, both of which are implemented when he is administering to the wounded.

Impersonal: I'm still toying with this idea right now, so we'll see if he can heal via Internets. XD! STAY TUNED.

- Heat

I think this has been demonstrated pretty well, and I know I've mentioned it before - Apollo naturally has an unusually high body temperature. Since he ferries the sun, he is able to harness its heat and power, and is able to conduct heat through his body, usually giving the reciever burns well within the 2nd or 3rd degree range, as far as sunburns go. Typically, he can keep this pretty well under control, but under stress or arousal, he'll get exponentially hotter and can lose control over what or who he burns.

In Regards to Cold: He does not like the cold, pure and simple. It is mostly due to his body heat, meaning he is actually... constantly uncomfortable, unless the temperature is in the 80's or, better yet, higher. Consuming cold drinks or foods usually is something of an ordeal for him, but he suffers through it sometimes, if he's feeling particularly masochistic oh, iced seven-pump cinnamon dolce latte, whyyy are you so cruel to me or brave. XD; In addition to the cold just being damn uncomfortable for him, it also deprives him of his power, in severe conditions.

- Prophecy:

Oh man, I knew I was forgetting something! Apollo controls the realm of prophecy, so he often gets visions. Sometimes, he can predict things at the drop of a hat, but more often than not, his visions are unwarranted and can be incredibly vague and hard to interpret, even for him.

Uhhh, what else? I don't know. Just ask, if you have any other questions! I'm sure I have left something or another out.

Shapeshift/Bodyswap/Slash/Etc:
- Shapeshift/Bodyswap:

Well, as it was demonstrated sometime back, yes, he can bodyswap! I think this power should be restricted only to other gods, but if you have a character who has a means to switch him to another body, bring it up! I like traumatizing Apollo. XD; As for shapeshifting, yes! He has the ability to do so! Obviously, he typically uses it for stupid crap, like changing his hair and eyes to brown, but he can also change into animals, typically a crow or a mouse. :B

- Slash:

...What do you think? But seriously, yes. Definitely. You're a cute, blonde young man, it's very likely he will be attracted to you. XD;

Maim/Murder/Death:

Well, it's already been clear that it is absolutely fine with me if Apollo gets maimed, haha. ♥ As for murder or death, if a plausible reasoning for killing him off comes up, then I am all for it. I would rather wait a while before it happens, however, because I know there is a lot going on right now, and I wouldn't want to take away from/get his death plot overshadowed by something else, haha. But yeah! It would totally fuck up the world of the gods, but THAT'S OKAY. HE'LL COME BACK TO LIFE. ♥

Kissing/Hugging/Badtouch:

- Kissing:

Oh, Apollo is all for PDA. While the only people he actually, you know, passionately kisses is limited to Hyacinth, Alphonse, and - sorry, Blackout - Eros, he is not adverse to planting one on you, if the situation calls for it. ♥

- Hugging:

Bring them on! Apollo loves to hug people, and I think they, in turn, enjoy them as well - they're warm and cozy! \o/

- Badtouch:

Okay, this is going to sound awful, but I would absolutely love to see someone badtouch Apollo. Like, outright dominate him because oh my god, hot.

Easiest way to get on his Good Side:
- Don't be a dick.
- Let him call you pet names.
- Be a fan of any of the following: surfing, Disney movies, summer, music, but most of all, him. XD
- Be friendly and open! Have a sense of humor.

Easiest way to get on his Bad Side:
- Be Ares.
- Put him down for being a god.
- Act like he's incompetent because he is a god.
- Like gospel (Kassy's an exception to this rule).
